Parks and open space play an important recreational, environmental and social role in every community. Recognizing this, EDA works to reach community consensus on every project. We also prepare biophysical reviews to look at the environmental impacts, detailed site use analysis to look at the needs of users, and market and economic assessments to look at the appropriate levels of development. Involvement can range from feasibility studies to final master plans. EDA can take on the challenge of the park in a single community, a park system in a city, or a provincial or national park.
